Dr. Raynie Wood
Executive Director
Dr. Raynie Wood was appointed Executive Director of the Alberta Bureau for International Education (ABIE) on April 1, 2024. Prior to this role, she served as the Dean of the School for Advanced Technology. With extensive experience in various post-secondary sectors both locally and globally, Dr. Wood holds a Master of Education from the University of Calgary and a PhD in Education and Human Resource Studies from Colorado State University specializing in higher education leadership. She recently completed the Directors Education Program at the ICD – Rotman School of Management, Toronto.
